I work from home most days and wondering about other peoples' diet experiences when staying home for the majority of the day with a to do list that requires sitting in front of a computer for hours. Do you snack throughout the day? Focus on 3 meals? I personally have a tendency to snack when procrastinating which I'm trying to correct.

I work from home at least two days a week. I treat working from home no differently from working in the office. It's a lifestyle, not a diet for me.

I eat about six meals a day. I know that sounds like a lot but I eat smaller portions many time throughout the day. It works out great and I am rarely hungry. It also helps to stabilize my metabolism.

I work from home a couple days a week. I don't do a lot of snacking when I'm working, but I purposely do not sit in the kitchen and work so I stay away. I see the potential but I haven't really had a problem with it.

I eat like I would if I was at my office. Breakfast, maybe a morning snack (not likely), lunch, afternoon/pre-workout snack, dinner.

Hi there - I'ma student who works mostly from home. I agree with the poster who says it's a lifestyle, not a diet, but I also know how easy it can be to snack whilst working out of sheer boredom or as a means of procrastination! So, I don't buy foods which you can snack on unless they are healthy e.g. I generally have carrot batons and mange tout in the fridge and I never have things like biscuits or chocolates anywhere in the house.

I found when I first switched to eating better that I began to drink a lot more cups of tea during my workday, as the act of getting up to make one was a break from the work. After my early morning cup of tea I now generally try to stick to green or other herbal or fruit teas so that I'm not caning the sweetener!

    Good luck!
