Congrats on your success.0

Looking good. Congrats. Out of curiosity, what's the timeline between the first and last pictures. But be proud of what you've done. No, you don't have to eat 1200 to lose weight. Not at all.0

Congrats! I know I shouldn't eat only 1200 calories, because my BMR if I was at my ideal weight would be over 1300, so that means if I was at my perfect weight, and in a coma, it would take more than 1200 calories to keep my organs and metabolic processes running.0

Sorry the pics are all screwed up. I swear I resized them. Lol. I'm lucky I even got them to show up! Geez! I swear I followed the directions, or atleast I tried to.0

I lost most of my weight the first year, but then my Curves facility closed down, and I had to figure things out without it. I'm really on a roll now though! This is the second year, and until recently I admit I had a hard time losing. I was eating back most of my exercise calories, (I have a bodymedia) and I don't know if I was eating too much, or just losing inches, and not reflecting on the scale, since I'm building muscle. I have definately lost inches though recently! )) Just started doing NROLFW! Love it!!! Highly recommend it to everyone! I see myself getting stronger EVERY DAY!0 -

I think it's different for each person, but obviously what you're doing works for you, so that's great! You look great!
I just don't think people should judge others because of what the other person may choose to do in order to lose weight.0 -
Another person who thinks because something works for them it works for everyone.0

Huh?
All the OP was stating was that you can eat more and still lose weight. She is just posting what works for her and trying to encourage women to eat!. Too many women, eat too little to fuel their body.
What's wrong with eating more food?:grumble:0 -

Not judging, just stating facts. I like food.0 -

Well, yeah, I guess if you want to lay around the house all day, and try to lose weight, I guess you would have to eat 1,200 cal's. Lol.0 -
I think it is great!! Keep up the awesome work and forget the "negative" comments.0

Tried to edit the photos. Didn't work. You can also see some of the same photos in my profile pics.0

And that is why some people do. Not everyone has a gym membership or lifts or works a fast paced job. Some people sit at computers all day, some people have been advised by their doctors to NOT do heavy exercise, some people are so overweight that 1200 calories a day has been recommended for them by their doctor. I know a few people like this and think that it can be hard for them to hear people calling them unhealthy, or lazy, or telling them to eat more when they are trying to lose weight. Not everyone needs to eat more. Eating more is what got people overweight in the first place. Congratulations on your success and finding something that works for you. For others reading this post the title is correct not everyone needs to eat 1200 calories to lose weight, however everyone should find the right calorie intake/deficit for them to lose weight whatever that number might be.0 -

Where there's a will, there's a way. I simply said that you don't HAVE to lose weight on 1,200 calories. I lift, and I have 2 herniated discs, bad knees, and I still find a way. I had these problems before I started lifting, or exercising. Not saying EVERYONE should do this, but if you're tired of being hungry, you don't have to eat like that. Also, you don't have to have a gym membership to exercise, and even if you sit at a desk all day, if you exercise, you don't have to eat 1,200 calories. You can eat back exercise calories.0 -

I sit at a desk all day. I don't have a gym membership. I have asthma. I have been advised by my doctor to not do extreme exercise but to do moderate exercise, low to no impact. I have arthritis in my knees. And yet, I can eat my 1800 calories because I am exercising for free! Walking and hiking mainly. Want to lift? There are lots of things you can lift without going to a gym. Lots of things you can do free or cheap if you WANT to. This is what is different for me this time. My eyes are open to the options and I'm taking advantage of them.0
