lol i was just thinking the same thing.

    its not easy.

I'm eating 2100 cals, and its tough for me to stay around 40g.

i've read that under 50g is ok but around 20 g is optimal.

i don't eat any fruit or vegitiables (or grain obviously). All of my carbs come from nuts, peanut butter, eggs and whey protien.

you'd have to basically eat ONLY meat to go zero carb.

Okay - Yes, I'm doing low carb also, I'm going by Atkins Induction for 2 weeks, which means 20 carbs a day (for 2 weeks) to get started.

I've given up white carbs but I occasionally eat wholemeal bread and I love lentils, spinach, broccoli and courgettes. I spent years stuffing my face on the Slimming World diet on their "green days" as a carboholic and whilst I did lose a little weight, it taught me nothing about portion control. A chance remark revealed that all that white bread, rice, pasta and potatoes was leaving me bloated and sluggish, not to mention the night flushes I was getting through being menopausal. I'm a totally different person since I eradicated them from my life - bouncing with energy (I run 2-3 times a week now), with a washboard stomach.... and the night sweats are a thing of the past. I ate a small slice of home-made cake on Wednesday evening as a treat now that I have reached my target weight... and woke up in the night drenched in sweat - for the first time in about 5 months. Coincidence? I think not......
