Real NSV!

This is puzzling to me, but I weigh a pound more than I did two weeks ago, but my size 8 jeans are much looser. I know the whole muscle weighs more than fat thing, but I haven't had much time to work out between now and then. So I'm mystified, but I'll take it. I don't care how much a weigh as long as I can get into size 6 jeans at the end! So close!

I think you're right about the muscle weighs more than fat thing. I'm 10kg heavier now than I was at highschool, and even though I feel crap I actually look better. I can only assume that because I'm more active now, that some of that weight difference is muscle0

That is a great NSV! Way to go! I love reading these stories!
Muscle, however, does not weigh more than fat. 1 pound = 1 pound. Muscle is more dense than fat so it takes up less space, so you can gain weight while in fact being smaller! It took me a while to wrap my head around that too. I keep track of my measurements because my weight loss has been slow and it helps to see that progress is being made even though the scale doesn't move!0
