If you could live anywhere

Based on my recent road trip either Fort Worth or Dallas, Tx.
I have to ask why? I was born there so I'm curious.0 -
I live in a valley right below Lake Tahoe... most beautiful place on earth, to me. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Reno is only 45 mins away so if I want some trashy city fun, it's possible.0

spain!
but a nice part, not where all the tourists are,
and be able to speak fluent spanish0 -
I live in Portland. Beautiful, but I'm ready to retire and move. If money were no object, I would probably want to live somewhere along the Central California Coast. Somewhere liuke Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Paso Robles or Santa Maria.
I will be retiring to Vegas in 3 years. Main reason is that my dollar will go further in Real Estate, I can ride year round and I want to go to Culinary School there.
I can still ride out to Cali from Vegas. Got lots of friends there.
sounds wonderful0 -

It's very different from my home, the Great NW and we have family there.
I thought it was beautiful. I prefer L.A where we also have family but
the drivers .. the reputation is true.0 -
I live in Miami, so it's summer all year here but I would love to live in Hawaii, or Tahiti, Bora Bora....something like that0

Some may laugh at me, but I wish I could live in downtown Chicago. With my retirement salary, it would have to be on the outskirts and the apartments are crap. Someplace where it does not get hot and the bugs die out real soon would be nice.0

It's not that exotic but I'd love to live in Vancouver some day. I'm in Edmonton now and I am sick of the cold and dark; odds are good I will not survive this winter as we aren't even below zero yet and I feel like I'm freezing to death whenever I step outside. The scenery in Vancouver is gorgeous and the winters are mild, and there's so much to do. Plus just a one hour drive to cheap shopping in Seattle!
Hon, sorry to bust your bubble but it's FREAKING cold here these days... can't warm up. And the fog.... geez! Shoot for Maui instead!0 -
I live in Pennsylvania so either Hawaii or the Bahamas....somewhere's warm year around.0

canada or australia has to be on the coast.
im on the english coast atm.0 -
La Jolla, Ca or Boston
I'm in La Jolla, myself I would love to live in the south where there is some history. I am in love with old plantations and such.
No history here. :glasses: But we do have great weather, but horrid traffic.0 -
I've lived in south Florida all my life and have never been anywhere... I would want to move somewhere where there are seasons. All we have here is rain, hot and humid, hot and dry, and 3 days of pretend fall ... Colorado or Montana always look so nice. Plus the cost of living is way less then here
As a former Floridian...Who now lives up North...I need to tell you this.
I second this!0 -
I'd probably stay right here in the Sierras, great weather and plenty to do
Plus I love my view
