omelletes every day bad for you? going over the daily fat

toss the yolks and jsut eat the egg whites, or maybe one yolk for 4 whites
why...all of the actual nutrition is in the yolk
Because the OP was concerned about fat levels and doesn't want to stop eating omelets. I don't think yolks are evil, but you definitely don't need to eat 5 per day for the nutrition.0 -

Eliminate some yolks, use low fat cheese, no butter or oil. You wanna substitute bacon because the omelette is too fatty? Sheesh ????0

a yolk is 90 calories, a white is 10 calories. Do you want a 500 calorie omlette, not including what you add to it , or a 150 cal omlette, Both choices are gonna give you more than enough nutrients for what you are eating, one just has a whole lot more calories.
I'll take the 150 cal and have calories left over for a slice of bread , some cheese , veggies, OJ etc.0
