Wow! I am new here and my reasons for being here are very similar to yours. You said you didn't stick to 1200 but that is the number Myfitnesspal has given me. Did you go to a dietician to get your higher number?

I used my TDEE and cut 20% to start with and then 10% when I had lost a bit of weight. I entered my stats here: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
and followed that (you can manually change your settings on here at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_custom ) I found I was an activity level higher than I thought I was.

Don't often see other Boltonians around these parts. :)

Congratulations on your coming addition. You look amazing, fantastically done on the weight loss.

I have also recently found out I wasn't the height I was. I thought I was 5'4" and it turns out I'm 5'3". I'm glad that yours went the other way, being taller must be ace!

That gives me 2000 calories. I think I did it wrong. Do I still eat back exercise calories?

It depends on what you entered, if you set yourself as having a desk job then yes, if you included your activity level then no. Without knowing your stats and what you entered I could tell you :flowerforyou:
