Lexus? Audi? Merc?

Going by TV, everyone is getting a car this Xmas. So which care are you buying your ball and chain?

Not sure what type of car.. So.. Yes, a car with a GPS nav system, minus the car. He has a car.
Maybe car sales are low and TV is only trying to produce some sort of "inception" to trick you into buying cars lol.

I'd just be happy with a stock model Bugatti. Nothing fancy I'm simple.

Tell him no need for a car. I just want a triathlon bike if he is going to spend that kind of money (some models can be there price of a decent used car).

That's the way to do it!! :)
  • How did you that a new car was in my future?

We had a fancy car (heck, we owned 2 cars and a truck at once), but with the expensive gas and outrageous car insurance, a Chevorlet, Ford, or a Subaru will do for now. We'll save the Mercedes for when the kids are grown, the hubby learns how drink coffee in the car without spilling, and I'm ready to make a small house payment again for a car.

I just bought my wife a Honda Pilot touring on Saturday.
That should keep her set for the next few years...

I got a new bike, which is preferable to a car.

I bought my ex wife a Volvo XC90 last Xmas. I'm sure I'll be buying her something else soon.

I would murder my husband if he bought me a car for christmas... I can think of so many better things to spend money on.

But I'm lame and kind of hate getting gifts anyways.

One thing about being single. I just buy my own damn present to myself. Strangely enough, I always get exactly what I want.

When I was married, she blew all my money on herself anyway. So by the time I was able to buy for the kids and her, I aways just had to go with the whole "I don't really want anything" line, because there wasn't enough money leftover for me to get anything anyway lol.

Just bought it. A mutual decision.

Nissan Leaf (all the options) all electric.

    We now own:
Prius plug-in (for my long commute)
Nissan Leaf (an urban run-about that we've yet to experience range anxiety)
Toyota Sienna van (for when the Leaf doesn't have the range, or we need the hauling capacity).

With the solar panels, the prius and the leaf..........transportation costs have never been lower for the family.

Holy crap! lol, I know what your talking about for sure.... Though I'm not the spender... It makes me sooo mad now that I thought about it.. I bought my wedding band because he "didn't have the money" and his trucks, his tools, his clothes...(shared acct) yet.. I didn't get a damn thing for my brithday!! ugh.. not even a fricken card... It's not even the spending that makes me mad.. it's just the thought..

    anyways I'm done complaining lol.
