"B" belly success?

So of course I have the dreaded "B" belly (your stomach looks like a "B" when it goes out then in then back out, as opposed to a "D" just all rounded..) jw if any of you girls have one and if so how does it look now after you lost weight has it gone away or just get "smaller"
I'm so sick of mine and hoping it will go away! I would love to see pictures of your progress please!!

still don't get what a B belly is.0

Ok, I have this. I like to think of it as I was curvy before I got fat, so its my curves just being extra CURVY!!! I always wonder what my stomach will look like if I do lose my weight. YIPES!!!0

Personally, I've always been glad to have a B belly instead of a D belly. It means I've got a waist, even when big! It also means no one has ever asked me if I'm pregnant, because pregnant women don't get B bellies.
I have pictures, but as I'm still 100+ pounds away from my goal, I don't think that's what you're looking for So far though, the humps of my Bs have been going down slowly, so I imagine it'll disappear eventually. Not having a huge stomach usually helps.0 -

Not sure I do either.0 -
Do you want the truth? I have a "B" belly and it has never gone away. I would have to have a completely flat stomach and some abs in order for it to be flat and even then I don't know if it will. I totally feel your pain. :sad:0

I had a "B" belly even when pregnant so I never took the pregger belly pictures.0 -

It's where your belly is indented at your belly button as opposed to just being rounded out all the way from the top to bottom. I hope that gives you a better image.0 -

Same here, exactly! Even at my HW of 307, no one ever asked if I was pregnant.
With 98 lb lost so far my rolls have diminished but are still very present :-/ I am fairly certain I'll never NOT have a B belly. I don't mind it but I am always a bit jealous of girls with the D type of belly that goes down and looks nice & flat. The lower part of my "B" has gotten much flatter, at least, and I know the upper part is going down because I wear smaller tops and button-downs no longer cling.0 -

I won't share pictures, but mine has flattened out nicely and is pretty even. But my belly button is in sad shape. :sad:1

In for pics....I'm curious myself!0

I had that problem. It seems to have finally gone away, but I had to get really close to goal before that happened. I'm not sure exactly when I noticed it was gone. (GOOD RIDDANCE!)0

I have a C belly. Cuz all you "see" is belly.7

I have a B belly, and I HATE IT! I had lost about 50ish pounds last year. I did abs, cardio, low carbs, low fat, low calorie, you name it, but the B began to get loose and saggy. I had just started learning to belly dance, and I think I looked worse in the costumes that way, than when I was larger! I actually put weight back on, because of it. A Dr told me that, depending on age, having plastic surgery might be the only way to get rid of it...I can't afford to do that out of my pocket, and insurance doesn't cover it.1

I have a B belly... even when I am at my goal weight, I can still see it! When I gain even 5 lbs, the top part of my B gets bigger. It's really frustrating. I'd rather have a D belly for sure.2

I feel like it is/was much easier to find flattering plus size clothing when you have a B belly. That has just been my experience. For example I was able to wear a size 22 even at 307 lb and I think it was because of my waist going in so much between the "upper" and "lower" belly sections. Gosh that sounds so unattractive lol. But for me it seems to have made it easier.0

Ok, now I am just getting depressed!! So there's no hope for us? We are doooooomed? I am holding out for more success stories!!!0

i have it, and while the top 'hump' of the 'b' has flattened out some, the bottom bump is still a problem.0

I think were doomed! lol
Thank you for all the reply's everyone! I still hope someone has a good success with it!0 -
I don't have a before shot of the belly, and this isn't a great after shot. Whatever. I had a very pronounced B. Now it's it's only a slight D shape, and still improving.
don't give up hope ladies - keep working on it. (I eat at a slight deficit, strength train, and run)

I definitely have a "b" belly, but it's getting a little better since I've started to lose.0 -
I feel like I would be ok with the top part going mostly away and the bottom part getting smaller, but still being there. I am never going to have a flat stomach again, I realize that!! So only having the bottom part (just less of it) would be ok by me.0

I still have it a little, but it's not that noticeable now. I went from 165 to 120. No belly pics though, maybe if I was younger.0

I have a B belly! My progress pictures so far are in my profile pictures. I'm nowhere near my ultimate goal yet so it still has some work to be done. The top part of the B is getting smaller, in both vertical and horizontal directions (like someone was squeezing it in from the sides) and I think the bottom looks larger in comparison now. I have had the same experience that other posters mentioned. Clothes are easier to fit but the B belly is slightly less flattering when you begin losing weight in comparison to the shrinking of the D belly.0

...I think I have a lower case "b" belly lol I'm pretty tiny from under my boobs to about an inch or so above my belly button and then my lower belly gets nice and big :grumble:0
