    Mmmmm, McRib....

You do realize that they don't slaughter the cow right there in the back right? They have to freeze it and shipped it, it's just frozen.
I just googled "frozen pork ribs" and "frozen spare ribs" for comparison.

I'm just admiring how uniform it is...

nice neat little stacks of the same looking piece of rib meat.

I admire their skill in accomplishing that.

(i'd totally eat a mcrib when I choose to fit it in my macros. which will not be today.)
And I'd totally eat ribs. And may tonight. YUM. Rudy's BBQ for take out may be in our evening plans.

    No wonder people are fat.

Bad choices make people fat.. As disgusting as I think the food at McDonalds is they don't force it down your gullet (IIRC there was a guy in the movie "Super Size Me" who ate at McDs every day and wasn't fat, had normal serum lipids etc etc he just showed some restraint)

Super Size Me is the one where the guy ate like 4000 calories of McD's a day for a month and did get fat and had poor blood chemistry.

Fat Head is the one where the guy ate McDonald's for a month and lost weight and got healthier.

Occasional fast food will not make anybody tubby if the whole calories in-calories out equation is in balance. Obviously, lack of exercise is what makes you fat, not McDonalds or other fast food per se. ON THE OTHER HAND, McDonalds and all that other "yummy" fast food can help fast track you to your next angioplasty surgery. (can you say 'ticking cardiac time bomb'? :explode:

    ENJOY! :drinker:

Yikes. I have got to show this to my husband. Don't care for the McRib, but I do love those damn fries. So flipping delicious they should be illegal. But it's good they aren't because I'd just end up breaking the law anyway.

This is what your fries looked like before they went through the cutter.

    Yes. I know. >:)

I just realized this won't make any sense tomorrow when I log what I actually eat, because I'm not actually going to have a McRib, I do not like them. Nor could I stomach a 1/3rd pound burger AND a McRib in one sitting.

LOL. I couldn't eat that much in one dinner sitting, that's for sure. I'd never get to sleep!

They're really not very good. I don't know why people go crazy over them.

I will be eating one (with the buns replaced with McChicken patties) tonight though.
