Not really creepily, but they do tell me every time that I have 'perfect' teeth.
Just like hairdressers who ALWAYS say that my hair is really thick.0 -

Hmmmm *rubs chin* I'll allow it, Shredder.0 -

I always slack on my flossing. I am trying to be better about it.0 -
My dentist calls in all the other hygienists to come see my teeth. And she only lets me schedule appointments once a year, not twice a year. I don't find it creepy though.0

LOL no, but after the compliment he's asked twice if I play volleyball at the Polish Center... I MUST have a tooth twin.

It's not the compliment that bothers me.... it's the fact that he's sitting on my lap during the exam that seems a little odd. :ohwell:0

And OP thanks for reminding me to schedule a dentist appointment.0 -
At my last visit my dentist said, "It's always so pretty in here" while looking in my mouth. Which was odd. But I looked and it IS pretty in there.0

NHS provides full free treatment for the unemployed.
Folk who work pay based on a banding charge - so there's a set "top wack" fee for various treatments. (The NHS subsidises the rest of the costs.
•Band 1 course of treatment – £18.00
This covers an examination, diagnosis (including X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.
•Band 2 course of treatment – £49.00
This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or removal of teeth.
•Band 3 course of treatment – £214.00
This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2 above, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.
Kids/students free treatments.
Cosmetic dentistry is only free for under 19's in full time education.
There are dental payment plans, but they only cover X amount.
Loads of private practices though as obviously that's where the dentists make their cash.0 -
Everyone says I have nice teeth. My dentist always comments and I'm cool with it, since its his job to know teeth. When I'm at the supermarket and someone says something is when I get creeped out!0
