which exercise helped you the most

i tried a lot of weights and Cardio workouts, but its the Circuit Training which i found the most effective in my case, how about yours?

    I find exercises classes work for me. Mainly Spinning and body attack as I enjoy them. I love swimming too - but I don't consider it as exercise as it is so fun :-D

    Cycling - it's no impact; you can make it as gentle or tough as you want; the scenery distracts you from the pain and the long steady distance rides get my mind into a state where time passes and I've done 30 miles without realising. On the other hand, I can do a short, sharp hilly ride for an hour on my way to work and that's my exercise for the day, I feel alert, buzzing and feel like I have achieved something.

    Walking is great too.

    can't pick just one for myself. Mainly i focus on kick box but in the meantime i also do circuit, cardo, gym, weight lifting, walking, yoga...i just like different exercises

    For stress busting and endorphin rushes - running
    For being around other people without being annoyed - yoga
    For nice muscle definition and increased strength - weight training

    Is Shakology even an exercise thing? Does Shakology have an "e"? Should it have an "e"? Should it even be a word? What's that thing where women look like they're performing rude actions on a man? Is that the same thing?

    Oh, to answer the question, strength training, whilst the least efficient, seems the most effective in the long run. I've done circuit training/HIIT/kettlebell stuff in the past and it's time-consuming and not particularly fun. If I want to do cardio, I've got sports such as tennis and martial arts to do instead. Some kind of sport combined with lifting will more likely keep me interested for decades and keep me in good shape. :-)

    Helped how is my main wonder, too :)

    Helped on strength? Certain bodyweight moves that take forever to get up to. Those really helped the muscles around my knees, actually, and I really needed stabilization there. Abs, lowback, quads, etc are all so much better than with the weights exercises I was trying for them. I think it's because the ones I do require really full extension (takes a lot of flexibility to get into position), and that seems to work better for me than the usual suspects. Little odd muscles get built so nicely, and that helps stabilize my joints, etc.

    Helped because I found an exercise I can actually do with my bad back that works lats: Dumbbell Pullovers. They rock! I'm thrilled I can do them without a massive nerve flare-up each time!

    For me it had to be fencing. I have always wanted to do it and now that I finally have the opportunity I love it. Fencing motivates me to work on my fitness and lose weight so I can be a better fencer. There is no better stress relief that attacking someone with a sword and I have made some awesome friends. It helps that my coach keeps me accountable about my other workouts too.

    Since I have a lot of weight to drop....walking has been the best work out for me in terms of just getting up and going.

    I just started T25 this week (doing modified cause I will knock this planet off its axis if I do it on normal) and while its brutal on me, I have to say, I cant remember the last time I sweated so much!
