A SINGLE slice of pizza could possibly contain ~300 calories? Seriously?

I know it depends on different factors but that's just too much for an average.

    What are your thoughts?

    Find better pizza.

300 calories per slice pizza is probably not great pizza.

    Would not eat.

Take a look at the sodium! It's equally shocking!
The sodium is what I worry about more than the calories. I lost weight eating pizza in moderation.

I can't be bothered, usually, to include pizza in my diet. I'll do it a couple of times a year maybe and then I won't count it... but I'll usually have 3 good slices of that 600-ish calorie/slice kind

scrape all the topping off once cooked, chow down and don`t eat the pizza base? Or vice versa

Buy the individual size frozen pizzas/baguette pizzas.

Swap for a nice grilled chicken breast with some stir fry veg?

Eat the pizza and enjoy, then work your butt off?

I made pizza from scratch for dinner. Mmmmmmm.

It was roughly 300 calories per slice but the slices are big and loaded with toppings. It's worth it to me.

300 cals is actually very low. Thats probably thin crust, light sauce and no meat.

My thoughts are that pizza is delicious and totally worth the calories in moderation.

a medium slice with pepperoni, green peppers, and mushrooms is 230-240 calories.

considering that i often have days with a TDEE of 3700, i can *EASILY* fit a couple of pieces of pizza into my day.

2 of those pieces would contribute 20g of fat and 18g of protein to my macro goals.

pizza is truly a magical food!

I enjoy a slice of pizza at home doing the following.
I use a whole wheat tortilla with some tomato sauce (Whole Foods got a great one that only like 40 calories, made with natural items at around 2 tablespoons) and cheese and it only comes around 150 calories. It's like a mini pizza and it's yummy. I eat once a while and love it. Depending on my calorie count, I will sometimes add an egg to it the last part of cooking to it. Talking about out of this world.
