Somewhat disappointed that I didn't do any exercise over the weekend.....but I did Friday and today so this is where I'm at. I need to dedicate time to over the weekend! My elliptical trainer at home doesn't go by miles so it frustrates me and I don't want to do it for that reason......I just need to get on it anyways.
EVERYTHING I've been TOLD and things I've found online tell me that Treadmills, Exercise Bikes, etc do NOT give us the exact miles....It really goes by your weight etc...I have checked this against my TREADMIL too my outside walking and there is a farily big difference.....I HAVE A PEDOMETER so I wear that while walking outside, using the Treadmil or any machine. So FOR ME I just use my PEDOMETER....A friend had first told me the machines were not accurate and was WHY I purchased a good pedometer from Academy. Cost me almost $70.00 but it was WELL WORTH IT for I really THOUGHT I was doing more than I found out I was....On the Pedometer you key in your age, your weight, your lenght of steps and THAT gives you miles and Calories burned...Dont know IF this will help you or not but I am happy I feel I'm doing what is right FOR ME.....
Being that I have a spinal fracture, and my back is not strong enough at this time for stabilization due to osteoporosis, my recumbent bike is the only exercise allowed other than swimming (I can't swim). The mileage may be inaccurate, but through eating right and the bike, I've lost 71 lbs since February. I'm 7 lbs from my goal wt. I do what I can, as long as I keep moving.0 -

With Back problems the past week I have not been able too do much as far as a hard, fast cardio walk.....Actually I am even behind. By now I usually have up too at least 50 miles in if not a bit over. I dont thik I'll be able to make the 100+ Miles this month but I'll givei t all I've got.....

I'm at the halfway mark!
Been placing my daily walk totals on my page.
I normally walk 4 miles a day, six days a week.
But there were two days it was only 3 miles.
I had a few days with 5 and 6 with one 7 day!
If I manage to do an early walk and done by 9 a.m., will often go later in the afternoon and do another two miles!
At 50.5 miles and almost there!!0 -
