Cheating is anything you wouldn't want your SO doing

Awesome! I can do anything but abuse cauliflower or cook fish in the house!

    Should we consult Bill Clinton?
  • Harmless flirting? no
    Sexting? yes
Phone number exchange and communication? yes
Better conversations than with your SO? yes

anything you have to hide from your SO, because you know it would hurt their feelings, that the 2 of you did not agree upon and/or something you would not want them to do to you is considered cheating to me.

    It's different for every couple.

If you don't KNOW what your significant other would consider cheating, you might want to re-evaluate your relationship.

He did not have sexual relations with that woman.

If you'd be embarrassed to tell your mother-in-law, it's cheating.

On the other hand, calling and telling her about all the d and/or v you get from her child is perfectly natural.

What if the mother in law is the one you're cheating with? Then I'm sure it'd be ok to call her and talk to her about it.

I like the way you think. Do you want to cheat on your significant other with me? I can dress up like their mother in law.

If I would feel uncomfortable telling him about what happened- or know he would be mad at me- I know I've crossed a line.

I'm very friendly- I'm a wild flirt and I love talking hanging out.

I don't touch- and I don't give people false impressions or lead them on- if they choose to think I'm saying "no means yes" that's their own fault- but I am very clear about my intentions.

Emotional cheating starts WAY before physical cheating typically- I'm not quick to denounce either. Both are completely valid cheats.

Since cheat posts seems to be the theme today....define it.

    Harmless flirting?
    Sexting?
    Phone number exchange and communication?
Better conversatons than with your SO?

    _______________ <--your opinion here

for the record, I only do the first!!

To me, anything that you wouldn't readily admit to your SO is cheating. If you find yourself hiding something or deleting messages, you're already cheating.

Eating ain't cheating... as long as you're within your calorie limits.

Are we talking about something else? My bad.
