All foods. My first dates are drinks.

lol i like that but that would not be good for me.

Why is that? I would say that the majority of my first dates are drinks, but there are exceptions. I just don't like to introduce the meal element too early on, nor do I like coffee shop dates.

If we go to the bar to watch a game or a gaming spot thats fine but I am a very light drinker(it don't take much for me depending on the drink) and i don't like beer.

Salad - I figure if the guy isn't cool with me having a burger & thinks I need to eat a salad, he can eff right off. Worked out fine with the man I'm with now.
Alcohol - if we can't hold a good conversation sober/one (or both) of us has to be slightly drunk to put out then what's the point?

I have SMASHED a burger on the first date ... it was my cheat meal (sorry, not sorry) ... Don't avoid it but whenever I go out and order beer they always give it to the guy when it's mine!

I would avoid spinach (had some last night it was all over my teeth).

I agree with anyone else ... JUST REMEMBER DATE #2 EVERYTHING IS OFF (OR SHOULD I SAY ON) THE TABLE!!!

I AM SUCH A CLASSY LADY :smokin:

What is a first date?

    Wings
Cheesy stuff, you know you take a bite and it just stretches out more and more.
Super spicy food, makes my nose run and eyes water.
Salad (if that is the only thing you order) Especially for me because I don't use dressing and people don't get it. LOL

I try to stay away from anything garlicky, or really messy. Sushi's a good choice if you want to impress a guy, though, since you have to open wide to shove it all in.

None. This is me, this is what I eat and how I eat; take it or leave it.

    Tuna.
  • I've learned to avoid expensive foods! My first date we went out to a very fancy restaurant, and he told me to order anything I wanted. So...I ordered shrimp and lobster ravioli. That was a $30 plate of food! Looking back on that now I feel so bad for making him pay that much. We're married now, so I guess he has forgiven me lol.

    I don't "date".

^ this ... but if I did... anything that has any chance whatsoever of resulting in an unpleasant and ill timed odor.

I'd probably have sushi... safe, not messy, and delish.

And now I am rethinking my stance against dating. :flowerforyou:

I have found that it can be fun to just go for totally messy food on a first date so you can get the awkwardness out of the way quickly and laugh about it. I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone and doing stuff like this.

Yorsh. It's half a pint of cheap beer mixed with vodka. You shoot it.

My chances of getting anywhere are inversely proportional with how many of those I've had.
