Big Boob Blues

I have the opposite problem. I gain and lose in the my chest first. I've only lost 6lbs so far and most of that is off my chest, and I'm not very big in that area to start with (B cup).
One thing I will say is when you're losing weight and it starts coming off your chest, make sure you are working the muscles in your chest so your boobs don't drop too far. Chest presses, push ups, etc. are great to help keep your girls perky and in their right place.0 -
In for boobs
Big, small, odd shaped, uneven and those with breast cancer. Ladies0 -
I have no problems with big boobs, lol. Sorry had too.:noway:0

I was a 28HH right up until the last 5-7lb. Now I'm down to 100lb (I'm only 5' and hairs breadth) I've finally suddenly dropped to a 28G/GG. If you naturally carry your weight up front like I do then I've found I have to get pretty lean to make much impact on my cup size.0

I'm sorry I know being big breasted definately has it's downs especially with back pain....I have always been since I was 16 (and thinner) a 36DD, I wish you luck!!! If you have tried everything and nothing works maybe you could talk to a specialist to help? A friend of mine had 8LBS taken out of each breast 16LBS total, and is now a regular 36D, and it has helped her out a lot....it may or may not be for you, but I would ask a doctor or nutritionist maybe if losing the rest of the weight first doesn't help...0

So one of my main motivations for working out is my bra size. When I gain weight, I gain in my breast first so I thought losing weight would fall from there as well. Went to get measure today and 15lbs later, I am still a 32H/HH. Don't think I have ever cried so hard in front of a sales associate.
I know there's no way to target weight loss areas but my feelings are so hurt. I only have 15lbs to go before I reach my goal and by then I may lose a cup size but that's about it. If anyone has any experience with big boob problems, please comment. I could use some serious advice right now...
Knowing that there's not much else you can do to rid yourself of the inconvenience@bra size, which I understand all too well magnetises negative attention and the most awful of stereotypes some have the propensity to hurl, as a fellow-endowed and active woman, my advice to you is as I've summarised via the attached.
*Remain encouraged! Replace your bra-size body image issue with how you are to prioritise your breast beauty and breast "fitness"; Consider what's available to you via the Dermatologists within your area, as a positive distraction from feeling downtrodden over its size *0 -
I feel that if you don't feel comfortable in your boob size, maybe think about reduction surgery, I know ladies that had it and couldn't be happier without the extra weight to carry around. Hope you find what works for you.0

Yep. I Have lost 50lb and a not even 3 inches off my bust. bra sizes are a bit different where I live but essentially till i get to a healthy weight they wont drop in size at all. Just in density (sorry if thats overshare) which drives me nuts. So it really is a 'make peace with your body kinda deal' I am a G.. my daughter is a G and shes a scarce 120lb. Genetics are what they are. What I tell her is.. if people judge you as a bimbo or easy because you have large boobs then feel free to judge them for being ignorant morons who think a woman is the sum total of her bust size, and hang out with better people. Seriously. As for the man on the street..I don't care. But I am old. had lots of practice not caring. Good Luck. and keep an eye out for minimiser bras.0

I hate this thread.
No music. No boobies. No fun. :grumble:0 -

Agree@bold.You may also consider the RF Assisted Breast Lift procedure, which has shown positive results for breast reduction and improvement in skin laxity which is sometimes the case amongst the larger breasted women who lose weight, and lack the collagen and elasticity required to maintain a perky breast appearance.
You(OP) are a woman of colour whose melanin is on the dense side ~ non-invasive procedures should be your first choice always.
Good luck!0 -
Stepped on the the scale
Threw back my head
Cried me a river
Lord I wished I was dead
(chorus)
cause I got da blues
The Big Booby Blues
Ain't nobody help me
unburden my back
a well fitted bra 's like a burlap sack
cause I got da blues
The Big Booby Blues
I shopped training bras
Online at Sears
Not for my ownself
I ain't worn one for years
(chorus)
And now I await
the scale's next budge
be sure if it don't
I will be holding a grudge
(chorus)0 -

Love bluegrass music, thank you Mister_Universe ~ maternal grandfather lulled us to sleep or sang around the bonfire when we got older whilst tending to our cattle or camping. ) Appreciate your lyrical talent too. Kudos to you for sharing.
BOT to OP: Isogei treatments is another alternative you may try. Another way to target your muscles via isometric contractions.0 -

You might not ever lose them. I lost 106 pounds and mine stayed the same. The band size of course went down, but not my cup size. I eventually had a reduction and am now very happy wearing a D. I no longer have back, shoulder or neck pain and I don't have problems trying to find bras, bathing suits or button down shirts either. My insurance even covered it. You should look into whether yours will.0

I know how much of a pain they can be, but mine work for me much more often than they work against me. :drinker:0

I'm sorry. Maybe you'll be lucky and lose from there down the road.
I was 38 DD. I'm now 34 DDD. Basically I've only lost one cup size with 70 lbs (although I don't mind, that way my stomach doesn't show as much).0 -
Have you started concentrating on building up your chest muscles?? Pushups, pullups, rows, kickbacks, etc? When you look at athletes like gymnasts, swimmers, etc. you almost never see any with large breasts and that is because they have a low body fat percentage and work on developing and honing their muscles.
I am not as large as you, I only started at a DD but since losing 325 pounds I am down to a C cup...I am actually hoping I will eventually be a B by the time I get to where I want to go. But I didn't really see any reduction in size until I started doing the lifting and focusing on my chest and arms...then it came off fast.0
