    PS my weight goes up and down as well due to water retention - it can go up or down by 4 or 5 lb from day to day sometimes :-)
    I do believe this because it happens to me. :)

    That's why I got fat. I kept gaining 4-5 pounds every time I got my period. It adds up, you know?

    ditto...maybe not very obvious each month but year after year...yeah, that's how I get heavier and heavier...

    Sometimes it has nothing to do with TOM. I just get random days where I feel super fat. It is usually period or having to poop.

    I learned on here that we burn 500 calories (or something) from having our periods. Where do all those calories go, I wonder? All those years I had week-long periods, I should have been losing a lb a month, darnit!

    So maybe the weight does stay, see? It's not so crazy ;) But it also goes, because of the extra calorie burn! Makes complete sense :D
