Haha, apparently the only thing you can eat or drink on that diet is double quarter pounder with cheese and diet coke.

people are also stopping their chemo treatments because of this

Yeah, that's a bad idea...Although I do love this bit,

    " All Drugs

Though these are not foods, most are addictive and very destructive within the body:

    Alcohol
    Nicotine
    Caffeine
    Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, etc.
Many over the counter and doctor-prescribed drugs
NOTE: Do not discontinue doctor prescribed drugs without doctor’s permission.

I have to laugh at this especially: No refined grains, but grain-based coffee substitutes (like Pero and Roma) are ok.

We're supposed to eat "living" foods. Uh, does that mean I can't pick my broccoli off the plant before I start noshing on it? That makes things like carrots and beats particularly challenging. I was also worried about how we're supposed to eat our meat until I got to that part. (Although I have heard of people swallowing 'exotic' things like bugs and octopus live)

Also, all meat is not allowed. Neither is soy, some kinds of nuts, legumes (including peanuts), and anything containing salts. "Table salt is 97% sodium chloride" (duh … that's what salt is, at least the kind we generally ingest).

Cites the China Study; claims that sodium chloride is the leading cause of high blood pressure; claims the eliminating animal products will eliminate risk of heart attack and most other health issues (so then what's the deal with the salt? lol) … wow.

Hope the OP was posting this for a laugh, because I enjoyed that!

i was lol i thought it was pretty funny

Here is what WebMD has to say:

A heavily supplemented, low-calorie vegan diet, consisting of 85% raw organic foods and 15% cooked foods, is the core of the faith-based Hallelujah Diet program. The Rev. George Malkmus and his wife, Rhonda, developed the diet and recipe books at their Hallelujah Acres farm to educate their followers on what they say is "God's way to optimal health."

My first thought? They call it the Hallelujah Diet because when you finally die and rise up to heaven, you shout, "Hallelujah, no more raw carrots! I heard there was going to be some feasting going on here, and don't skimp on the prime rib!"

But if it works for someone else, good for them.
