If it's a cheap tattoo, one is too many.

When they start creeping up onto your face area, I'd say you've gone a little too far. I don't have any, but I think sleeves are awesome. Go big or go home!

If you're hot, you're hot. If you're a long haired, stinky person, you probably have tattoos.

    No. Just...no.

One is too many. When the meat and potatoes suck, you cover them with gravy to mask the bad flavor. Your body is already perfect the way God created it. No need to cover it up.

If the ink's done well...then the only hard fast rule I have is no neck, face, hands. I only have one...what stops me from having more is cash flow.

You can NEVER have enough tattoos! They're SO addicting!

I currently have 2 and am working on my idea for #3.

I say to each his own and I never judge...doesn't matter to me if you have 4 or 44!

What is it that bothers you about them ?

I think its viewed as unprofessional if they are visible.

On a personal note, I just can't figure out what is SO ****en important it needs to be inked into your flesh for all time - to display to the world. Feels like attention whoring behavior to me.

when I get inked, there's no way I'm concealing it.
Don't like it, look away

    Here's looking at you, kid.

It's not about covering up anything, it's wearable art.

What if you're lumpy like potatoes? Does that make it ok to get a tattoo?

I'm a short haired, nice-smelling person, and I have a bunch of tattoos.

As long as your tattoos are awesome, and done by a GOOD artist, not some crackhead in their bedroom, then there is no such thing as too many. Except your face... other than Kat Von D's, I'm not a fan of face tattoos... neck is fine as long as it's not a name/words... I think that looks corny for some reason.

I have 3, and I have about 3 more in mind that I want. As a teacher, I am going to have to get creative about where I can put them and also be able to hide them easily on a daily basis.

Yeah I can understand that. And I certainly love artistic expression. But I just love the female body so much. It is just so perfect and beautiful. I just hate for it to be covered in any way.

Me too, except I know it was the whole believing in God thing that made me laugh.

same here, but didn't want to deviate from the OP

I'm not a fan of tattoos. I have zero and I don't find them attractive... BUT. I'm all for people doing what they want. I really think if somebody likes to get tattooed then "too many" is when you need to buy some extra skin to keep going.

I think tattoos can be sexy on others if well-done and able to be concealed if necessary. Personal preference of course, but if you're running out of room, that may be a bit much. I have dated people with over 20 and some people with just one... I have none and have no plans to get any. I like being just 100% skin with a few scars and stretch marks.

Yes, that's the only reason I got mine. I need attention so bad and now everyone makes such a fuss over them. I was starving for attention so bad, and I said yes, if I get some ink, I'll be Mr. Popular. It worked. Lol.
