Teas are generally 0 calories but I still log mine. It's a habit I guess.

Since I do just tea and water, nothing added, I don't bother. I keep the non-caffeinated variety as of late so I dont think its any different than powering down a lot of water

Side note - surprisingly earl grey tea, black, no sugar, has calories. Not very many but they're there.

Many 0 calorie things really aren't 0 calories. I believe if it is less than 4 or 5 calories (and not sure if that's per serving or for the whole thing), companies are able to claim it as 0 calories.

I log everything because I want to be as accurate as possible. Plus, if I ever need to review what I've consumed for medical reasons or whatnot, I'll have everything right there.

I drink hot tea every day without milk or sweetener. I log it under water because it's just hot water!

I don't log tea or water. They have no calories. And they both have water in them (even if there is caffeine). I sometimes log matcha because it has 5-10 calories (lol). Or I log what I add to the tea, if it seems significant.

Joy is correct. A company can state a product is zero cals if it has less than 5 cals per serving.

While it isn't much, most black teas range from 1-4 cals per cup, before milk, sugar, etc. Some herbal teas and other fancier teas can be as much as 15 cals, from what I have read. I don't drink them, so not speaking from personal experience.

I take my black Tetley tea with 2 1/2 sugars, so of course, I log ever cup,...about 40 cals, if I recall.

On a side note,...a cup of tea is a good source of potassium. In the US, companies are not required by law to disclose potassium on their nutrition labels or on their websites,...why, I do not know. But if curious, a quick phone call or an email to the company in question will usually result in getting said potassium info. FYI,...Tetley claims that a cup of their Classic Black tea has between 70-135 mg of Potassium. Yes, I did call. :)

I have pretty sporadic eating habits, so I don't have my log as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack as it normally is. I have mine as times of the day where i generally tend to eat small meals and/or snacks (8am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-7pm, and 7pm-11pm), so I just add my tea in to whatever time of day I'm having it.

I don't log it as water because I always try and get my 8+ glasses in, no matter what other water based liquids I'm having, like tea.

Yes, I log my tea. I drink different types of tea. Some have carbs, vitamin C, etc. I try to log most everything,

The calories are negligible and I drink copious amounts consistently so I do not log it as part of my intake.

I do not log my water, so I do not log it there either.

I drink coffee and log it. Really, though, the only reason is that otherwise I'd have random entries of just sugar and milk in my snacks. Not that anyone on my FL would really care, but it looks weird to me. No good reason.

I don't log water or tea, as they are calorie free.
