Beginners Challenge... 50 miles in January

I started using MFP on the 15th of January. I have walked 39.4 miles so far in January. I use walking as my exercise program as a cancer survivor. I walk a minimum of 3 miles everyday at lunch and I will be doing the Biggest Loser Run/Walk Half Marathon on the 26th of January. I use races like this as motivation to get out and walk.0

I am up to 49 miles as of yesterday and will hit 50 today. I have been using the Map My Walk app (free) and Pandora (free) to keep me motivated.0

Run keeper, an amazing app on my phone, tells me how far I have walked and my pace or speed. It keeps me focussed and have walked over 400 miles since installing it.0

Jan 8th - 2 mile run (3.32km).
Jan 10th - 2 mile run (3.32km)
Jan 14th - 2 mile and 2.5 mile (3.32km run and a 4km) run to add from last week.
Jan 14th - 2.5 mile walk (4km)
Jan 15th - 2 mile run (3.5km)
Jan 18th - 2 mile walk (3.5km)
Jan 20th - 2 mile run (3.32km)
Jan 22nd - 2 mile run (3.5km)
Total: 19 miles (31.78km)
God I'm very slow at getting the milage up. There is no way I'll reach 50 miles by the end of the month. I'm upping my 3k+ runs to 5k from next week so that should add a bit more but I'll still be way off the target. Maybe I'll reach it in February!!0 -

REALLY didn't feel like going out today, but forced myself and did a wet 7.5 miles on the bike. I WILL complete this challenge!
