I always do! If I wasn't tracking on Christmas, I definitely would've gained since I ate past my maintenance calories while tracking. I'm too scared to not care!0

Me..we have no plans and I planned our dinner to keep me on my calories..we don't drink so no fear of those calories. I am also doing both my workouts today. I have worked so hard the past few days getting back into the swing of things. I am going full force into 2014..the last of this weight is coming off one way or another!!0

I am absolutely NOT counting calories.
I lost weight over Christmas WITH indulging two days. yes, I could have lost more had I not done that but I am no sacrificing my last holiday for months for the sake of a number on a scale.
I am going to my sister's and we are eating lobster, steak, shrimp, veggies, cheese, crackers, and lots of wine. And Peanut Butter cake.
I wouldn't even know how to calculate some of the items since I don't know how they will be prepared, nor do I care. I am eating less throughout the day today and plan on a two hour workout tomorrow. But tonight is all me, my loved ones, food, and drink.0 -
Prelogged too. Planned to eat out for dinner and at least three drinks. If friends bring yummy snacks we'll break out the Just Dance and pretend it's just a party game (SECRET EXERCISE)

I'm counting, I never go crazy on New Years anyways. Plus I just cant pig out anymore. My stomach doesn't agree with all the junk food. Christmas day I pigged out and have regretted it since.0

I pre logged and added in my beer so I know what I'm getting myself into. I like the idea of bringing shrimp, I may do that.0

I will be - mostly as we don't really go all out for New Year anyway. I'll have a normal average calorie dinner and then probably have a bottle of something fruity and fizzy (I have an excellent selection of flavoured ciders in at the moment)
And some of the Christmas chocolate might get finished off...
But to balance this I've been to the gym today and will be there again tomorrow for a long session0 -

I sure am! I didn't log for 4+ days over the holidays so I want to be accountable for today/tonight. I will be drinking wine and maybe a little champagne. Luckily, I'm a lightweight! Woohoo. Unluckily, wine at bars is expensive
I ate a big hearty breakfast, fried egg on a bed of brown rice/salsa/corn...I'm hoping that protein kick will help me combat hunger post-bar.0 -
I will. I'm trying to figure out the menu now and prelogging. I will be over calories for the day but not too ridiculous.
I didn't log for the week of Christmas (two family Christmases and a funeral/wake all away from home was too much for me) so I need to get back on track. Seeing the good, the bad, and the ugly helps me make better decisions while still enjoying myself. I'll try not to drink the entire bottle of champagne tonight! Or maybe not.0 -
I will be! It's a good way to also keep track of how many drinks I've had. I'm anticipating going over a little, but tomorrow I've got all day off work and the dogs & I are going to go for a long walk to start the new year right (followed by a trip to the gym )0

Just because I log doesn't mean I am "counting" per say.
That is where I think people get confused....logging does not mean dieting it means keeping yourself accountable for what you eat.
I log regardless of I eat/drink it's easy to see that in my food diary (which is open to the public)0 -

I am taking a nice long nap after work and then running a 5k race at 11:59pm. Then six hours of sleep and another 5k race at 10am! It's going to be a First Run Doubleheader for me. What a way to start the new year, right?0

I've tracked everything I plan on eating today--though I also acknowledged that I have/will go over. I'm okay with tracking over my goal--it's better to know how many calories I will eat--even if I am going over my goal.0

Not ME!! I am going to the final performance of Arabian Nights in Orlando! That's my Christmas present from my wonderful husband and I plan to enjoy the whole night!. I'm not counting the chicken cordon blue or the included alcohol or he deserts! I'm going to enjoy my very first New Year's out in 15 years! (since I became a mom). So happy New Year's everyone and be safe and happy tonight!0
