Raspberry Ketone

Has anyone used it? Did you like it? Did it work well? Any side effects?

The only effect it's likely to have side or otherwise, is to lighten your wallet. It won't help you lose weight.

Wow, what a winner. Raspberry burps, waste of money and it's approved by doctor oz. Anymore pills or powders or synthetic crap we should know about?

I heard that all it does is "shrink" the fat, and then once you stop taking it, it un-shrinks again so its a waste. Of course I've never tried it myself, but I wouldn't bother.

    What?! Seriously..."shrinks" fat?

Is there a pill that teleports fat to Mars?
  • There have been numerous university studies done on raspberry ketones and have been proven to work. It's not the raspberry ketones that burn the fat, it's the chlorogenic acid you get from them which helps with the breaking down of fat deposits. It is called a supplement for a reason because it should "supplement" your diet. No fat burner or fat burning compound will melt off fat, it will only speed up the process. Also, there's no such thing as supplementing a bad diet.

I've been taking ketones and great tea extract pills from GNC, and I find they help take away that little bit of bloating after a meal. Nothing helps more than hard work and a tight diet though

That's not entirely true. I've heard from several posters that it also makes your burps taste like raspberries.

I want in on that magic!

When it is used with a great diet and exercise plan it will help to smooth out cottage cheese areas.

Smooth cottage cheese and raspberry burps. No wonder dr oz endorses.

Are "cottage cheese areas" like what I get if I don't shower for weeks?
  • Like I said, it's the chlorogenic acid in the raspberry ketones that burn the fat. So go google search how chlorogenic acid aids in fat loss and look up the studies ur selves. I already know this, not saying it for my benefit.

Well, I guess any information resulting from a google search certainly stands as the truth.

Oh I forgot to mention the numerous nutrition books I've read and specific books on the chemicals and compounds. I'm also in school to be a nutritionist and personal trainer. Did I also mention I work in a business which specializes in these specific compounds which then reinforces the fact that I'm more knowledgable than you on the subject.

You seem upset. I'm guessing those ketones don't help with mood swings
  • Nope just giving the multiple other sources of my knowledge. I don't personally take ketones because I don't need anything to help burn fat. I stay at 8% body fat year round while consuming 4000 calories a day. I'm living breathing proof that if ya put the right food in your body and exercise properly, you won't gain fat. But you knew that ;)

I googled Raspberry Ketones and didn't find any relation to chlorogenic acid. The only connection to chlorogenic acid was to Green Coffee Extract in addition to Raspberry Ketones. Am I missing something? Do you have any actual backup to what you are saying?

Also, becoming a nutritionist is all well and good but I'll trust a registered dietician before I trust a nutritionist.

Wow. An 18 year old who knows everything,...never seen that before, ughh. Condescending, rude and vulgar,...and you've only been on this site for what, 10 minutes? Great start!

I feel sorry for your future clients.

Isn't chlorogenic acid more from green coffee than raspberry ketones?
I looked on google and couldn't find any studies to back up your claims unfortunately.
  • No no no.. :) I already have a couple clients who have made insanely good progress in the short time they've been with me so yes I'm confident in my abilities Thank you :);)

Simple question: what the hell does raspberry ketones have to do with chlorogenic acid? There is nothing to indicate that they are in any way related.

You are awfully confident for someone who can't answer a simple question.

Oh my, teleportation to Mars? Sign me up! That way, when I stop taking it and the fat attempts to come back to me from Mars, it will burn up upon reentry to the Earth's atmosphere! PERFECT! I'm in.

It works fabulously. I put raspberry ketones in my ear, threw my balance off and when heading for the fridge, ended up in the closet......I'm down 20 lbs.

like I said on my other post, it doesn't work on HUMANS but my pet rats are losing weight on it. it was tested on rodents. :)

also studying nutrition and work in the health food industry here, but I still know there is bulls**t out there that they try and sell to unfortunates people who have 'tried everything' except eating less and moving more.

and oh, Dawson left the site. shame (not)

Making a claim and having someone ask for info puts the burden upon the person making the claim to prove it with evidence. You stated that there are lots of studies that "prove it". If not, then we'll just take your statement as an opinion and not a seriously.
So link where you learned this from. I and others would like to review it.
