Working out barefoot?

For yoga and running/jumping on my rebounder, I go barefoot. Better grip, and I feel more centred that way. For any machines or outdoor exercise, it's shoes... surf shoes for the beach, trainers for exercise equipment.
For weight lifting, I usually wear shoes (I think my bare feet might slip and don't want to 'throw anything out').0 -
Barefoot lifter here because of weak arches too.
The funny thing was the foot doctor prescribed me freaking custom ortho arch support, lol. A band aid that just worsens the problem over time.
Thank you for the knowledge internet! Best invention, maybe ever.0
