Anybody else have a diastasis?

in case you dont know what it is, its a 'diastisis recti' is when the walls of your abs split apart and divide into two separate halves, the left and the right, leaving a 'gully' of sorts.
I *think* i have one.. It might just be weight gain and normal, but its at the bottom, under my belly button. if that's what it is, it causes that front butt look and i also have a bit of that hang.. i know theres something called the tupler technique to 'close' the diastasis, but heres the thing--it says that regular tried and true ab moves like crunches, planks etc, can actually exacerbate the diastasis, making it larger, wider. is this true? i want to tone my abs, but if it makes a diastasis larger, then im torn. was anybody able to lose the hang, close the diastasis and have a nice tummy again?

After 6 pregnancies, I was able to correct mine with heavy lifting and planks.
I have heard that crunches are a no no but planks are ok.
