Generally, 6. I have two children who still wake up at night, but it's only briefly and I'm right back to sleep. I'm also a night owl and go to bed around 12:00, even though I get up for work at 6:30. I can't seem to be tired by 10:30, but it was my New Year's Resolution to get more sleep!

I target 8 hours. 8 hours of sleep will leave me feeling good, 9 hours will leave me feeling great.

If I get anything less than 8 hours I run into trouble. Your body produces human growth hormone only while you are sleeping, and it is very beneficial for losing fat and retaining lean body mass. People who are chronically sleep deprived often have trouble keeping fat off.

4-6 during the week, 8-10 during the weekend.

8 is my sweet spot, if I go under or over I feel tired for most of the day.

    4 - 6 hours. I hate being an insomniac!

4-6 hours but 6 is rare. Plus I work swing shift so when I sleep is always changing.

7 seems about average. But with the constant interruptions from my cats who want in/out it's probably closer to 6.5. 8 if I'm lucky.
It is important to get enough sleep. If you're too tired, it will spill into your weight loss goals. You'll be too lazy to prepare meals ahead, snacking will occur and trips to the gym or intentional exercise will be pushes aside.

About 3 minutes usually, I have a 3 year old and a 17 month old who don't need to sleep. Nah I'm kidding, between 5-8 hours with 2 or 3 wake up calls.
