  • I weighed myself today and I've lost 1.3 pounds. I can't remember what weight I started with on this thread, but I'd say my goal is 240 by the new year. Currently at 264.2

    yesterday i went 610 calories over my 1200 budget........I have to explain about the mcflurry, I know it's not a good excuse, but I had a 13 min break at job. Worked from 4:30 pm til 10:15 pm. NOT COMPLAINNG AT ALL...we were slammed...they had me in several places throughout the day...drive thru taking both orders and cash...then a few hours later switched me from drive thru to taking orders in the lobby....then after a lil bit switched me back over to drive thru...me personally i prefer drive thru over ANYTHING ELSE there....I'M LOVING IT....LOL...so after i got off work, one of my friends wanted a mcflurry....SOOOOO I decided you know that sounds like a great way to end my day...lol...so i got snack size Reese's flurry.

    Then, when I get home my buddy had BBQ and I just COULD NOT say no to that...lol....I didn't even bother counting...didn't bother measuring or ANYTHING...LOL...anyways i can just count this day as ONE of my cheat days....lol...AFTER ALL my cheat days is the weekend...lol

  • That's okay Kizzy. It happens and it's okay to have a treat every once in a while! My husband was laughing at me because I had a candy bar yesterday, which I thought was only 190 calories. I didn't read the small print, and later my husband pointed out to me there were 2.5 servings in one bar, so I really had a 475 calorie candy bar! Ooops!
  • Hey guys, I have just lost 15lbs in just over a month so I KNOW you guys can do it!!! The key is to get through the first week, that will be the hardest as you will not be used to eating smaller amounts, however once your 'inner tummy' has shrunk, you will not evev realise your eating less!!!     For me losing weight is easy. Once I set my mind to it the weight falls off. The problem I have is maintaining the weightloss. Lately I've been searching for ways to maintain weightloss once you've reached your goal weight. I will be posted more info on maintaining your weightloss! ....."You have nothing to lose but weight"

  • Hello everyone! I'm Nadra. I recently joined MFP and I still don't know my way around here. Anyways, I'm 19 years old. I weigh 150lbs and I'm 5 feet short, hehe. Um I plan on losing AT LEAST 20lbs by Jan 1st. I go to a gym twice a week, cut off all the junkfood, and started eating healthy. But to no avail! I guess I should be more patient, huh? Stubborn body..

    today since it's my day off from work i'm going to catch up on some jillian michaels 30 day slim down i missed such as yesterday the no more trouble zones x 2 pretty much i want to make this day a last chance workout...ONE OF THEM...LOL

    OK so i just signed up to start a couch to 5 k challenge that's starting on october 11 on MFP....i've never done anything like this before so along with my jillian michaels 30 day slimdown program i'll be doing this too

    i was wondering how in the world i was going to do this after i signed up for it...was i needing to look at my cell phone the whole time i was doing this or what??? my cell phone has a stopwatch mode anyways so i looked on the internet for like a couch to 5k music thing...and sure enough i found it :-) below is the link to it

    after ur walking interval is up it makes like a chime sound...and very NOTICEABLE....and it does the same thing as when ur jogging interval is up...it does play music so its not like there's someone saying for u to start walking or jogging every so seconds....like i said that's what the chime sound does

    i'm now up to date on my jillian michaels 30 day slimdown program

    even though i have all 3 dvds to the program i use the ON DEMAND section on cable....they have all 3....at least level 1 of the 30 day shred...not sure of level 2...i dont want to think that far ahead...lol...instead of having to pop in dvds everytime i just turn on the tv and go to ON DEMAND and go to jillian michaels...i have not been using the weights for the simple fact i dont have the weights yet...not for another 2 weeks when i get paid again..i just got paid yesterday but i have bills to pay...lol...but here in a day or two im getting 2 - 20 oz water bottles and use those as hand weights

    HELLO EVERY ONE.... SORRY I HAVEN'T POSTED IN A WHILE.. I HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL. AS FOR MYSELF TODAY WAS WEIGH DAY 3LBS LOST. A TOTAL OF 12LBS SO FAR. A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED BUT STILL MOTIVATED. I HAVE 13LBS TO GO! FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS I WILL BE WORKING OUT WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER AND ON A VERY LOW CALORIE DIET (700 CALORIES A DAY)! I LITTLE SACRIFACE GOES ALONG WAY..." I HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE BUT WEIGHT"
  • Losing weight this time of year is always a challenge. I will say my goal for January will be 20lbs. I think anything more is kind of stretching it and setting an unrealistic goal. Just always have to remember, everything in moderation!

    9 lbs down, 16 to go, so that's 2 lbs per week if I aim for Jan 13th!!! I'll be happy to drop 11 for New Years.

ALSO I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO MAINTAIN MY WEIGHTLOSS ONCE I REACH MY GOAL WEIGHT! MAINTAINING MY WEIGHTLOSS IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS LOSING THE WEIGHT! ALWAYS REMEMBER TO STAY POSITIVE.....
