    Honorable mention goes to Eraserhead. Been trying to figure out what the heck it's actually about for the better part of a decade. I'm sure once I understand it, it will deserve at least a top ten slot. It's certainly engaged me for longer than any other movie.

    They showed it at the local movie theater for the 70th anniversary. My wife and I both love it, so we had to go. It was magical.
