7 lbs to go
Congratulations! Looking great!17 -
Beagletracks: Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. We started in July (with a 50 day Daniel Fast and then a restricted meal plan), this was our 6-month progress. We both have lost 60 lbs each. Only baked meats like fish and chicken breast. My wife exercise (at least 12,000 steps a day) but for me not as much. 2018 Goals - 50 more for me and 20 for my wife

Not complete success yet just progress. 14lbs difference between right and left. Posting to keep me motivated.

I made this comparison for myself to get me over the New Year/holiday hump. The before pictures are at my highest 300+ I don't know exactly. The after pictures are from last fall I was down about 65 lbs and then went off the rails at Halloween. I'll be 50 in September and I'd like to be in the 190s by then. I was 242.5 this morning.

50lbs down! Not done yet, but well on my way!
And YES, I'm a Hufflepuff!

I would have assumed you were a big boned girl in your before picture but you are tiny!!! Great job and what was your program?11 -

Thank you! I think that's what everyone assumed, including myself, all my life. The last time I was at this weight I hadn't finished puberty so I didn't realize I could exist as a woman as a size 6/8.
My "program" was simply logging *everything* on MFP. Started at 1750 calories, now hovering around 1240. I eat tons of yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese and veggies -- I've found high protein, high fat and high fiber really help keep me satiated -- and I just try to make sure I consistently make the right choices as often as possible. The biggest lifestyle change was simply doing this each and every day...and I'm going to have to keep doing this for the rest of my life until I wake up magically no longer loving sugar, cheese and gravy.44 -
