#1: Make sure you’re celebrating your win so far. That’s a terrific job!
Have you updated your weight and goals in MFP? The more you lose, typically the fewer calories you need, though not always. it was the opposite for me because of increased activity as I weighed less. I added over 600 calories a day just to cover activity during those months and still lost relatively consistently. You start getting more and longer plateaus at the point you’ve reached but the overall trend will continue down.
You’ve lost early 50 in five months. That’s almost ten a month, which is really hitting it. I lost at a similar pace my first five or six months. It’s a bit of a shock or disillusion when you hit the wall of “well 🤬. I can’t continue to lose that fast”.
Make sure new habits are in place, make sure you’re eating enough to fuel you (obviously many) new activity, and slow down your expectations to half that or less.
It doesn’t mean your’re failing. Quite the opposite. It means you’re killing it, because the lower your weight, the slower it comes off!11 -

Stuck point as in the scale seems stuck or that you're growing tired of your routine?
If it's just the scale, then stick with what you're doing and trust that your body will catch up. What you are doing is getting results. I echo what @springlering62 wrote about revisiting your daily calorie goal to adjust to the new you.
If it's your routine, then it still might be a good idea to look at the goals. If you've been targeting FAST loss, maybe it's time to think about going a little slower. Take a refeed break, but not a long one, then start working on a slow and steady routine that is one you can stick to even after you get to your goal weight. That's the tough part - maintaining the loss. You can do it if your routine is sustainable and you decide to do it.
How far do you have left? Your face shows a HUGE difference.
The bad news is motivation is a tough nut. It will leave you cold in a dark alley. That's why building habits are so critical. You can't rely on motivation. It comes and goes. Habits are where it's at.
Bottom line: KEEP STICKING TO IT!7 -
@Mredwards12
@mtaratoot makes a great point. Look at your photos. What a huge difference!
Have someone take pictures of you, for you. It wasn’t til I saw photos of myself that I finally “recognized” the changes that had taken place in my body. Sure, I could see the scale go down, but the fat chick still greeted me in the mirror. Photos helped me disassociate myself, from myself. I was able to see myself in third party form.
You may have Body Dysmorphia, like many of us, where we just can’t see change. Our brains still recognize “old” us, and fail to visually register change.
And hey, btw, just saw in teensy letters that you started with an inflammation diet. So did I! The one my doctor gave me was only two pages long. I think the simplicity of it kickstarted me. Your oath mirrors mine on so many counts. Way to go!!!!! Hugs!!!5 -

Started my weight loss journey in 2022. Went through a major depression towards the end of that year. I picked back up in 2023. Last two pics are the last two months. ❤️58 -

I've been on Carnivore since January 21. From 167lbs to 140lbs and 13.5 inches lost. To be honest, I haven't added in any formal exercise (I do have acreage, so I'm always busy), just the diet change.

I’m down 112 lbs so far, went from a size 20/22 (2X/3X) to a size 6 (s/m)

I was just waiting for either death or diabetes to come get me.
After seeing 2 coworkers pass away back to back I got scared and decided only I could change me.
Started at 250 and started with 20 pound weights , I was intimidated at the gym.
Currently at 210 but it’s a lot of new muscle.
I’m trying to drop another 20 pounds , but have somewhat plateaued. It won’t stop me.
Please be kind , I’m extremely self conscious…. and please excuse my face in the new pictures, I had just abused myself and was beat!!!
I promise I’m a pushover and truly love life.
