70 pounds down...30+ pounds to go. First photo, July 2021, second photo, yesterday.

The below is from 196ish (my heaviest) to 130lb (current). It's taken years to get here and years to maintain. I dipped to 125lbs and I can stay smaller but I lift heavy things and love to eat. I REFUSE to be hungry! So my thicker body is my resting place at the moment.

I've been going back through old rowing photos, so will add an additional before & after (3 phase) here from those. I apologize for the really fuzzy photos, because some of these are old.
I started rowing in 2002. This is me then, at age 46, shortly after cancer treatment (2000-2001), when I was first starting to get regularly active. It's from the weekend camp where I rowed for the very first time ever. I look lots younger here (dark hair!), but I think pretty doughy, physically.
Starting January 2003, I was rowing regularly (I got addicted!). The next photo is from Summer of 2013, so I'd been rowing for 10 years. I'm still around the same weight (class 1 obese) as in the previous photo, and age 57. Maybe I flatter myself, but I think I look a little more compact, less doughy, and I know I'd dropped at least one pants size at the same body weight. (This is in the rowing tanks at a camp at Boston University - tanks are an indoor simulator for on-water rowing.)
In 2015, I lost weight from that class 1 obese level to the healthy BMI range at age 59-60, 50-something pounds down, and have been in that range since. I'm still rowing about the same amount. Here's a photo from earlier this summer, in a double rowing shell, at our rowing club on a local river. I'm 66.
