May I ask, what is your mother tongue?

My nerdy soul wouldn't let me watch Game of Thrones without reading the books first, lol

Currently reading "Cryptonomicon" by Neal Stephenson. So far, the writing is very schizophrenic, but I'm hanging in cause of the rave reviews.

Books I have read in the last 3-4 years or so:

"Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell Outstanding 10 out of 10--I read this in 2007...among the very best I've ever read. MUCH better than the movie (which was also good)
"The Last Battle" by Cornelius Ryan. Excellent. 8.5 out of 10
"11/22/63" by Stephen King. Very good. 8 out of 10
"A Storm of Swords" by George R. R. Martin Very good. 8 out of 10
"Killing Jesus" by Bill O'reilly and Martin Dugard Good 7 out of 10
"Fall of Giants" by Ken Follett Good 7.5 out of 10
"Masters of the Air" by Donald L. Miller Good 6.5 out of 10
"Killing Floor" by Lee Child Good 7 out of 10
"The Killer Angels" by Michael Shaara Average 4 out of 10 (Very disappointing for a Pulitizer Prize winner)
"The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown Excellent 9 out of 10
"In the Garden of Beasts" by Erik Larson Average 5 out of 10
"Personal Foul" by Tim Donaghy Excellent 9 out of 10
"The Book of Basketball" by Bill Simmons Very good 8 out of 10
" If You Survive: From Normandy to the Battle of the Bulge to the End of World War II..." by George Wilson Good 7.5 out of 10
" Manhunt: The Ten-Year Search for Bin Laden from 9/11 to Abbottabad" by Peter Bergen Good 7 out of 10.

Whenever I go to the gym, I like to read the Big Nate book series on the elliptical. It really helps to pass the time.
