War Letters: Extraordinary Correspondence from American Wars by Andrew Carroll

Though I had read this previously, it was so compelling I feel it is worth re-reading. Sometimes the situations were so gut-wrenching I had to put it down for a bit, but I had to go back to see what happened.

That sounds like something my husband would love.

A couple montsh ago I started reading "What the Night Knows" by Dean Koontz. Read about 200 pages. Couldn't get into it. Put it awy and read about 8 differnent books.

Picked up the Dean Koontz book again about a week ago. Started at the beginning and tried to get into it. Got to about page 250 yesterday. Gave up. Came home and threw it away. Wast of time.

Today I started reading "The Renegades" by T. Jefferson Parker. So far, so good.

The Fiery Cross, the 5th book in the Outlander series.

How are you liking the series? A friend suggested them to me, but I wasn't sure if I'd like them or not.

I love them. The first one is a bit of a slow start but they are a great. Love the new show on Starz too!

I have chosen to shelve "I couldn't love you more" by Jillian Medoff . Completed reading "Flight of Eagles" by Jack Higgins.

Before stopping by the library bookstore exchange yesterday, I'd started reading "One bullet away" by Nathaniel Fick. Am also reading "1776' by David McCullough, my recent purchase.

I remember those days! My son didn't have any classes this summer so he binge watched tv shows and finally read game of thrones.

I just finished Mindy Kaling's book…I wanted something light and fun to read and I genuinely enjoyed it! She is hilarious and so relatable. It made my buy Tina Fay's book, so I am now starting that.

Thats what I did for the first month of summer, it was awesome, but I got a job and ended up working 12 hour days everyday all summer... so didnt get a lot of reading or watching TV done,
