Congrats to all weight losers!!!
Hang in there TruSunshine! TOM is a beast!
I may be up myself this week due to TOM. I have had 2 bad days in a row. Munchies, junk, etc!! If I don't gain it will be because of exercising I put in this week. I have been a machine. Workout in mornings and walk at lunch time.

HI All!! The month is more than half way over, how are we all doing! Only a couple weeks to hit our goals, so put all of your effort in!!
Ebonia- I am so glad to hear you're getting back on track. It's ok to slip a little bit, as long as we get back onto the path!! I have had my share of slip ups along this journey too, and been derailed pretty bad some weeks. What's important is we dust ourselves off, and get back at it. You are doing great!
TOM is a real bear. It will get me next week. That'll all be gone next week Trusunshine.
It's been a rough week for me here. I had a really bad cold, that I finally went to the docs for on Wednesday. It had turned into a nasty sinus infection. So, some antibiotics, and I am finally on the mend after 2 weeks of being sick. I couldn't work out for 4 days, heck, couldn't even breath. And I had some serious relationships with ice cream. But even after all of that, I am down 1.5 pounds!!! Whoohoo!!! Only 1.2 from my overall goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and 1.7 from my goal here, since I said an even # of pounds)

I had TOM visit last week and I am not sure I am going to get on the scale Monday or tomorrow. I usually weigh Sunday and Monday and take the better weight. Usually they are the same or Monday is better. I am chicken this week since Wed and Thurs. Molly was a bad girlie....:laugh: I can't figure out if I am like the pregant person who uses TOM as an excuse to eat more or what because sometimes I do really well when TOM is in town.
Yesterday was back under my calories. I will probably wait until next Sunday to weigh in. Everyone have a good weekend!!:flowerforyou:0 -

After a rough week and TOM being due, this would be a week where I know I would have been up. I made the executive decision to just not weigh in today. I knew I would feel obsessive all week if I saw that finish line moving farther away.
I was talking about my need for motivation and a challenge, and a few people suggested to me that perhaps we should try doing some challenges here to keep ourselves motivated. I thought that sounded like a great idea. We could start doing that in the October group, and each week have a different challenge to meet. What do you guys think?0 -

I think it would be fantastic to do few challenges as a group. We can have exercise challenges and nutritional challenges.
I am challenging myself this month to run /walk 200 miles as an example. So far it is not going that bad at all:) and I had one week where I didn't eat any bread nor pasta/rice at all.. It was hard but I did it (i am a bread person:))

Well it has been a shakey 2 weeks for me. I have a problem with rewarding myself with food when I lose weight and it did not help that TOM was came right after I lost 8 pounds. So I have gained 6 pounds over the last 2 weeks. Hopefully I can lose one more pound by Friday. If not I know I have not gained for the month and will not gain any more weight this month.

Hey everyone. I'm so happy for everyone who is losing! :flowerforyou:
I feel a lot more like myself lately. I have an interview on Wednesday. That might have a lot to do with it. I got my butt up and exercised in the morning (never happens). It was just a video in the living room but I hope I can make a habit of it. It kept me going all day. Nice! I tried to make a No Eating Out week but it didn't quite work with the 100 degree weather we're having in California. I was still down a pound on my mid-week weigh in. I'm going to keep trying until I get a full week, then see what that week looks like.
As for challenges... I am not good at them so I won't participate but I still think it's a great idea for those it helps. I remember when I did e-diets and the ongoing challenge was a point system. Every day we would get 1 point for water, 1 for exercise, 1 for eating right, 1 for loggin in, and 1 for doing all 4. We would elect a "winner" each week.

Well, we're already almost through September! Can you believe it? I am sort of looking forward to weigh in this week and sort of not. I feel like I am looking leaner, but I have been way over my calories on many of the days in the last two weeks, so I am fearful of what I will see, LOL.
