Drop 40 by late summer/early fall support group thread!

Hi all,

I'm looking to start a support/check-in group for anyone who wants to lose forty pounds by late summer or early fall! It would be helpful if we could share our food and exercise diaries, as well as do weekly weigh ins. We could have in group contents to keep everyone motivated!

    I don't have 40lbs to loose, but I have 23lbs to go by this summer.

    I am trying not to focus too much on weight; more or less inches/toning, but I'd still join your group!

    Hello! looking for ways to stay motivated in the long run and a group sounds ideal. Currently I am using the South Beach diet (phase 2) as a guide to eat healthier.

    Here are my stats:

    I am: 26 years old
    Current: 203 lbs
    Goal: 150/160 lbs

    count me in I lost 25 lbs before but put it back on I need support and I need tp lose 75 because I had a heart operation dont want another or worse die.

    Look at how many people have joined!!! Do we want to do a weekly weigh-in / photo? How about every Sunday we update each other on our status? I am currently am 5'8", 185 and would ideally like to get down to 145. Hoping to drop down to 165 by the end of March.

    Hope it's okay that I weigh in every 2 weeks...weighing weekly is such a mind game when it's that TOM, ovulating, etc etc.

    I don't need or want to lose 40 pounds but 20 and i could really use the support!
    no one thinks i can do it, i am getting ready to be in a bodybuilding show by next year. I can't enter unless i'm 18... I don't necassarly need a lot of work, or have a lot of competition.

    This sounds ideal for me...I really need a challenge to make me stick to my goals! My biggest goal is to be able to do things again, walking, skating, etc. I think a weigh-in every 2 weeks would work for me.
