Is it less calories if I throw my food into a blender?

That seems to be the hype...

Yes, the blender digests roughly 27.6% of the calories for you. Therefore, you are drinking less calories than if you chewed it yourself.

No, but you burn more calories when you throw it. For extra calorie burn, back all the way up to the other side of the room before throwing it.

    Sigh. Short answer is no.

Longer answer is that there may be some minute decrease because blended stuff is probably easier to digest. On the other hand, there may be some minute increase because of greater nutrient absorption (e.g., if you don't chew your spinach well enough to break thru the collulose that covers it, you will find much of it in your poop, and presumably have been deprived of much of its nutrients/calories). There may be other factors. I doubt its anything that would amount to a worthwhile, or even measurable difference. Finally, I have no expertise whatsoever in this stuff.

Blending is a win/win. Less calories in your food and you can drink your meal in seconds, rather than chewing for minutes upon minutes, giving you extra time to *kitten*.

yes. the blades of the blender 'slash' the fats of the dish, the whipping motion a cardiovascular exercise of sorts, in turn torching calores and leaving nothing but macro and micro nutrients that you need for your digesting pleasure. a little elf in the base of the blender disposes of the waste and brings the scraps of startch and fats back to his elf family.

no dumb dumb. if you're asking if something like 'juicing' is good for you then sure it is! if youre just blending **** up then the calories are the same. but if its got corn in it i assume it wouldnt show up in your poop as obviously.

Why would calories be less for blended foods? An Apple is an Apple whether it is blended or not.

I heard that is only true if you put celery in the blender with whatever you are making.

I thought it's b/c since you're drinking it, you pee more. And the fat comes out when you pee, right?

Ease of digestion has nothing to do with calories.
