Yes and if you have a really good blender you can net zero.

I heard that is only true if you put celery in the blender with whatever you are making.

    Thank you....see we are geniuses

There are less calories in blended food, but it only works when you blend it by hand and run around while doing it. My friends friend lost 30 pounds this way so

Also I read it on the interwebs somewher.

If it's free food in the blender, it has no calories. Free food never has calories. :drinker:

Only if you use this kind of blender:

That seems to be the hype...

it depends...are you going to take it back out and consume it?

I wonder how many slices of Uno's Prima Pepperoni I can fit in my blender.

My dad's oral surgeon said that he had had a patient whose jaw was wired shut for several months and could only take liquid food. At one of their consultations, he told the surgeon that pizza smoothies were delicious.

I can eat a pound of spinach a week if I blend it but if I ate it in leaf form, it'd have to be in dressing with bacon and cheese. So, yes!

Though I do laugh at how people who shun 'processed' foods will usually flock to any powdered greens supplement sold.

Come to think of it, Grandpa could only have blended food toward the end of his life, which was a few years ago. He wanted pizza so my aunt and uncle blended it for him. He loved it.

Just make sure to microwave the ingredients before putting them in the blender. The radiation helps weaken the molecules so they can be broken up more easily in the blender, creating a more effective release of calories from the food.

People will extrapolate on any tiny detail to sell something.. As one person here mentioned, it may reduce a small fraction, nowhere near the amount they are advertising.. Sugar is sugar.. Blended or not.. It's going in.. Don't fall for this crap.. It's most definitely hype..

Something that blew my mind the other day... a friend screws the blade of her cheap blender onto spaghetti jars. It's like a Magic Bullet with "free" cups.

But that is only because celery has " negative " calories. It takes many more calories to blend or chew than the celery actually has.
People could actually end up with " minus " weight.....really cool.....

Why buy a blender when I will pre-chew your food for you & spit it out for free?

(This offer only applies to ice cream)

Yes, but it only works if you use the Super Bass-O-Matic '76.

    "Wow, that's terrific bass!"
