Day 19... the day is over. Made some really bad food choices (was out of the house most of the day -- sis-in-law graduated from art school, so we did that, attended her portfolio show, then hung out with the in-laws to celebrate) and went way over my calories.
I did get in my workout, and 11 cups of water. Still... I'm not happy about the food.
Tomorrow is another day.0 -
DAY 20 out of 80 - Since recovering from my nearly two week cold, I have had an increase in apetite = eating most of exercise calories....[which I don't usually, only half or less], unexpected dinners out because of family visiting on holiday, birthdays, going away for work.
Uff! :sad:
I've been avoiding the scales [I know I've gained a couple] even though I've been working out hard and I PHYSICALLY can't do any more...
...Frustrating BUT, another half inch off the waist, AT LEAST! [All is not lost]

Losing another half inch off the waist is someone who is making progress, good work. Not everyday is perfect just don;t let a bad day become a bad week! You are stronger than you think.
I had a big breakfast at work today, the guys cooked at the office and of course nothing was the light version! Ate a lot less than the old me would have and I logged it all. Just worked extra hard in the gym this evening and still managed to get under my calorie goal for the day. 1/4 of the way there guys!0 -
Day 20 DONE!
Fasted for part of the day to make up for the calorie overage yesterday (it was pretty easy not to eat, because I felt so icky from the crap I ate last night.) Got a little dizzy after my workout, but had some soymilk and a banana following, which helped, and later a nice healthy dinner. Got in plenty of water, too. All in all, not a bad day.
Went grocery shopping with the hubby -- about 75-90% of the basket was veggies -- LOVE that! Fresh, low cal, healthy and wonderful! Gonna have some good eats this weekend and into next week!

Day 20 done! One quarter of the was there already.
Great day, MFP adjusted my calories from 1370 to1200 I guess because of weight loss.
I wasn't sure I could make the adjustment, but, so far so good.
Day 21 starts today....bring it on!:glasses:0 -

Didn't sleep well last night and was feeling ill today, so didn't get in my exercise. Ate healthy, stayed under my cals, and got in plenty of water though.

DAY 24 out of 80.
Started off terribly as I wasn't feeling wonderful this morning. The dreaded migraine paid me a visit for the last 48hrs, but managed to get a half day at work which gave me a chance to take a siesta which gave me more energy to FINALLY get to the gym after skipping it for the last 4 days..[eek].
Anyho, I'm really proud today because I managed to run 5K without stopping or walking. :bigsmile: It took me 30mins, but hopefully one day I can get the time a bit faster. The Couch to 5K really does work!!
Ate about 20% of my exercise calories today. I treated myself to some small chocolate after dinner.....I had missed chocolate. :blushing:0 -
Day 23 Done.
Not my best day, but still under by 500 calories.0 -
Friends hang in there... I know this is a long road but we are getting real close to the halfway point... It will be so worth it ...0

What do you mean you're not eating any exercise calories.If I have a calorie budget of 1400 calories and put in 1200 exercise calories I should still have 1200 calories at the end of the day?0

Hello - My budget is over 2000 calories and I usually burn around 1,000 per day... This system is set up for you to eat all of your budget, plus some or all of your exercise calories that you burned... But I have had more success when I stayed below my budget and let my clorie burns create a deficit... Different strokes for different folks though...
During this challenge I have eaten some of my exercise calories on some days.... Some days I get HUNGRY!

Ate a little over my cals, but not by much. Still, should have had a little less for dinner -- overate a bit, and my tummy is not happy. Overindulging in healthy food is still overindulging.
Got in my exercise today!
Tomorrow is my weekly weigh-in day. I hope it's a good one.0 -
Day 25 DONE!
Ate well, exercised, got in plenty of water. Had to do some extra stretching today to alleviate a headache -- SO happy to know yoga, it comes in handy!
Tomorrow -- I need to start working on smaller dinner portions. The last 2 nights I've been STUFFED. I'm either under-estimating my portions, or just eating too much in a single meal. Either way -- I need to eat a little less at night.
Pretty happy with today, all in all.0
