Not sure where to put this one …so I am sticking it here, deal with it..
A few things that are pissing me off…
1. To that cheese eating MFP rat that is reporting peoples profile pictures. Get over yourself. This is a fitness site, and a good deal of us on here are into taking progress pictures and showing people on our FL how we are progressing. If you have a problem with some skin, abs, or whatever get over it, or better yet, move to a new site. I get it if someone is posting porn or nude pictures, but a female showing off their flat stomach and/or slamming legs is NOT grounds for getting reported…
2. Lets get this straight. It is not "rude", "bullying", or whatever other adjective you want to apply to when people come into a thread and say "don't follow magical diet fads" or "no, you do not need to use cauliflower as a substitute for everything", or "no you do not need to use zucchini to make ice cream (yes, that is a real one). Most of the people commenting on these things have seen pretty much every kind of fad diet out there and will comment appropriately . It is not rude to tell someone that they will not lose weight on a 21 day juice fast, water fast, or any other kind of fast; most of the people also commenting on these threads have been pretty damn successful and are just trying to inform the newbies as to how to make long term sustainable changes.
3. Finally, low carb, keto, atkins, IF, et al are not magical methods that burn fat faster then the average diet. They are simply tools that one can use to create a calorie deficit. Yes, I promise you it really is as simple as calories in vs calories out. Eat more, you gain weight; eat less, you lose weight. Hit your macros, stay in deficit, work out/move more and you will have success. Oh, and there are no "bad" or "good" foods. There is just food that you eat for energy. Sugar and carbs are not the devil, you can eat them and lose weight. Don't give me that special snowflake but calories in vs calories does not work for me crap …show me the one person in the history of man who can eat over their maintenance level and gain weight, and maybe I will start to believe you.

There is no substitute for ice cream.
Some people need to get over themselves. I have yet to see a picture bad enough to report. It would take a lot for me to report someone on this site. I've been in much worse forums.0 -

Not true. At all. Laughable to even suggest going 21 days drinking only water will not lead to weight loss. Might want to check with people who've actually fasted voluntarily, or people who were forced to go without food involuntarily, if going 3 weeks without any food leaves them at the the same weight.
