    Special "Canadian" versions are still allowed. It's the original UK versions that are banned.
    Our bottles all say "Made in the UK"...shrug.
    I don't eat it anyway, it for 'er indoors and she says it's the same stuff she has eaten her whole life (in Cornwall UK).

    Yeah it's probably still manufactured in the UK to be in accordance with Canadian food regulations so it can be legally imported and sold.

    The Canadian authorities said that these goods were seized because they were the UK versions. Basically the original versions are banned.

    My children were brought up on Marmite.
    Marmite on toast.
    Marmite sandwiches.
    Marmite on crackers.
    Hot Marmite to drink.
    Marmite and cheese scones.
