For the experience, California Jam in 1974 was one of my favorites. Rare Earth, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Eagles, Seals & Crofts, Black Oak Arkansas, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Emerson, Lake & Palmer played. It was a lot of fun. Went with three other Marines.

In 1976, I saw ZZ Top with Blue Oyster Cult, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter & Rory Gallagher at Angel Stadium. That was a great concert too.

In total, I've been to over 800 concerts in my life. The very first one was in Fresno. BB King. The opening act was Janis Joplin.

The last one I went to was Sammy Hagar in August of 2013.

    WOW.

Pat Benatar was great a few years ago. It was a sort of Unplugged show....and she can sing!

Def Leppard was my first concert...back in the day cause I'm old.......so for nostalgic reasons that's a biggie. :)

Saw the Avett Brothers open for the Violent Femmes and they were amazing.

The black keys were awesome as well. I've seen them twice.

Kid Rock puts on a pretty awesome show, and only $25 !

However, for nostalgia sake, first concert - Journey in 1983 will always be my favorite

Green Day has always put on a great show in my opinion, and Avenged Sevenfold was great. Justin Timberlake was surprisingly a really awesome show when I saw him years ago. My FAVORITE favorite show will always be my first Backstreet Boys concert in 1999 though because I'm still a 10 year old fangirl at heart lol

The National at the Greek last year was even better than their Hollywood Bowl prior to that, Mogwai at the HMV Picture House in Edinburgh Scotland, Coldplay at the Bowl 2012....Tori Amos x2 with only her piano, Devotska ANYWHERE any time! Rodrigo y Gabriela..... and many more to come.

Most memorable from the early days was Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Who, and Pink Floyd.
