Ya'll will be happy to know that the majority of fat in peanut butter is monounsaturated and THIS lowers the risk of heart disease.
It also is a good source of niacin, vitamin E, calcium, copper, potassium, iron, and magnesium Its also loaded with fiber

After doing some reading I also discovered peanut butter contains the presence of resveratrol; this has anti-microbial properties that help the body to deal with bacteria and various types of fungi.

In moderation peanut butter is VERY healthy......I often take a table spoon and smear it on a banana:)

Any time I stay in a hotel with a waffle maker I have waffles with peanut butter. I was very disappointed in the last place I stayed did not have peanut butter.

Yep, ever since I was a kid, I've used PB instead of syrup on pancakes/ waffles. I can't stand syrup, I guess that's a good thing!
  • Haha same here! Good to know I'm not the only one with this addiction... haha i go into peanut butter withdrawals if i don't get my daily dose. I just started this and Im not overweight im just getting "soft" and I cant seem to say in the 1200 cal goal. Everyday i go over by about 300 and I've cut down portion sizes and started eat healthy...i don't understand? When i finish my food log it says ill be 8lbs heavier in 5 weeks at this rate!
