Here is mine. I bought a plain black long sleeve top on the cheap a little over 2 years ago, it was an XL (not plus) so WAYYYY too tight to wear alone and clung to every bulge. I was in 2X-3X at that time and it's not a loose cut top at all. I got it just so I'd have something to layer under this baggy poncho type dressy shirt I'd purchased. It looked fine.
Around November, I realized this XL top was still in my closet and actually fit fine as a normal top worn with jeans, which was pretty cool and I started wearing it that way.
Today I am wearing it with a black/white gingham button shirt down UNDER it - and it's fairly loose. Woo hoo!

The other day... I snapped the bottom snap on my lab coat and it wasn't strained same thing with this longer button up (or I guess "snap up") shirt I have that also has snaps (the bottom one is around my hips so it was a little to snug before to snap it comfortably, it would just come undone while walking around or if i bent over or sat down)0

the dress I'm wearing in my picture. I hadn't been able to wear that dress in over two years! It was such an amazing feeling to fit back into it. Plus, the look on my husband's face was priceless0 -

Very cool! My ring is sadly getting loose. I have always had dumbly tiny fingers for my large self. I guess next time I'll need a 4.5 ring, wha!?
I LOVE everyone's NSVs and they are so fun to read!!!!!0 -
I had a pair of jeans in my closet since 2009 that I wore exactly 1 time, before I got pregnant. I was able to button them up for the first time since (I couldn't even pull them past my hips, 4 months ago)!0

I put on a pair of pants this morning that are a size large. Now, they are from a company (Eileen Fisher) with very generous sizes. And they are, perhaps, a smidge tighter than I normally wear my pants, but not so tight as to be uncomfortable. But still. I fit into a size large today for this first time since 2007.0

Ordered a size large dress from H&M and it's WAY too big. I think part of that is because their sizing can be kind of random, but like... it's WAYYY too big. So that's nice0

I tossed out my entire closet at around 225 pounds last year (down from 291). Now at 193. My replacement skirts are stretchy knit skirts but they are starting to really gap at the waist already. The jeans I bought at 220 are slightly stretchy too, and are starting to feel almost baggy. Thank goodness for belts! I don't want to buy new clothes for at least another 20 pounds [not to mention, I've got a cross-country move coming up, and I want to save money, not spend it]. Saturday I realized the belt I could comfortably keep 2 notches in when I bought it is now comfortable at 4 notches in.
NSV = non-scale victory0 -
what does NSV mean?:embarassed:
Non Scale Victory
Mine is that I am back in size 12 Pants - haven't worn a size 12 since before my son was born 11yrs ago!!0 -
My new in November size 10 jeans are starting to fall down WITH a belt. And my wedding set is so big now I had to get ring guards put on so they wouldn't fall off (and I have skinny fingers to start with - they were a size 5....I'm down below 4 ¾ now...once I lose the last 20 pounds, I should be wearing a 4 ½). :happy:0

what does NSV mean?:embarassed:
Don't fret! Simple question. NSV = non scale victory
Basically anything that doesn't directly involve the scale/pounds lost can be a NSV0 -
My corset I wore for my wedding has a side zipper to it, I had it tighten up for the wedding (could barely breath) I am now able to zip it up just as it was the day I took it off without catching skin or untying the back.0
-
