    This for sure, also if its a common nightly problem and you want to stay up then save up some calories and have a yogurt or pretzels or a protein bar and drink water. I am night owl too and keep a full glass of water by my table while I look at my computer. IF I get hungry I make sure to drink my water but if my stomach starts to growl then I just get up and eat one of these things but count it on my food diary. Your stomach doesn't have a clock.

    I save 100 calories for evening and have an apple or melon. Then I clean my teeth. Nothing tastes right after toothpaste.

    yep toothbrushing or just chewing minty gum really makes you not want anything else.

    I'm with the "hot tea" contingent. Hot liquid gives you a full sensation.

    And going to sleep earlier helps.
