    It's bad enough admitting to my myself that I just ate a whole bags of chips and seeing that giant red calorie number when I log it. I guess I don't want my friends knowing too :)

    My diary is open, because I I have no feelings about wanting to be private ; what I eat is no big deal and if I wanted to be private, I would not be in MFP in the first place and is the reason why I am not in any kind of social network . I really don't care what people think about the way I eat , which is 90% plus whole foods and has been all my life.
    I do however have feelings when it comes to being judged for my spelling......jejeje. English is my fourth language and I make a real effort to do well in that area.

    Because I don't want people to judge me... especially since I have a tendancy to carb load... on little debbies and dr pepper... :wink: I do share with my friends though... just not to every body.

    Mine used to be open but I got to the point where I started eating really badly and was embarrassed. I realized the only way to be honest with what I was eating was to close it for awhile to get back on track.

    I hide mine just because I personally find it creepy to have people looking at everything I eat. I like my privacy which as a society we have lost so it's nice to still have some things private. I do think it's good for some people to show theirs when they aren't sure why they are losing or gaining weight so the community can give input.

    I feel sad that so many people don't get the thread :frown:

    I'm not shy of sharing my dairy - unless it's some sort of delicious cheese, like Gorgonzola, Roquefort, St Marcellin, Mont D'Or, Stilton, grilled Halloumi, Chaource, Double Barrel Lincolnshire Poacher, Epoisses....

    Yeh, OK, I see where I was picking up those extra calories.

    I'd share my ice cream though :drinker:
