Tablespoons/Teaspoons

Hi,

I am new to MFP. Am I missing something? I just tired to account for 1T of walnuts and the smallest quantities are 1/4 cup. I figured it out by putting .25 but that is not perfect and too much thought process for the AM.

Thx!

Hi! There are 4 tablespoons to a 1/4 cup. So .25 should be correct and gives you the correct proportion if the MFP ingredient says 1/4 cup.

Get a scale and measure weight, you cannot judge calories by tablespoons and cups, unless you do not care much about accuracy.

^ This. Solid foods should be weighed while liquids measured.
