And WHY do you want to clench it in the first place? Do both females and males need their livers clenched?
I may be missing something important.

Btw..For the information that I share with you all, I test it by myself for 6 months before I post it up.

In 6 months time, I did not get sick (fever, sore throat, coughing) and my weight reduction goes great:happy:

In 6 months time, I also did not get sick, and my weight reduction goes great. However, I never drank warm lemon juice, or cold lemon juice, or any kind of lemon juice.

So your science has 1 observation, and my science has 1 observation. This looks like a scientific controversy.

I drink warm lemon water every morning. The only things I have noticed out of that list from drinking it for a long time, then stopping for a bit, then starting again is my skin stays clear and looks better, and I poop regularly. And with honey it soothes a sore throat.

I do still get colds. And my liver clenches at the most inappropriate times. It's very embarrassing.

I live in Sault Ste. freakin' Marie, and in the winter hot water and lemon are the only way I get water in... I am concerned about the acidic affects on my teeth so I rinse a lot, and I wait at least an hour before I brush. Acid erosion sucks when its because you are doing something good for ya!

Shocking. And apparently, not so great at scientific research either. But pretty great at cut and paste.
  • I make lemon water sometimes because I get tired of regular water.

Never saw any magical benefits from it.

You said there is no scientific proof that drinking warm lemon juice does any of the things OP claims yet I doubt you actually researched any data to support your claim. I do not care to support or disprove the article.

She claimed her 6 months of trying it on herself was proof it worked. A double-blind study on a large pool of candidates is a scientific research study that proves something is true, and this isn't that. I need no more proof than that of its lack of provability.

Helps purify the blood? Helps "clench" the liver? What does that even mean?

Also lemon juice doesn't alkalinize your body. It's neutral in terms of its acid-base load. One hydrogen ion is supplied to the body and one hydrogen ion is used by the body to metabolize the citrate. If you want alkalinizing effects look into orange juice which is primarily potassium citrate rather than citric acid.

I agree it was poor manners to attack your grammar - everybody does not have English as a mother tongue (let alone American English)

I think your article made some very strange claims though and I do not think lemon juice has any magical properties.

However if you like drinking it and it is working for you, that's great.

Hmmm, I was just reading a thread about how to calculate the % of weight lost from your body for a contest some people in and office are doing for a contest.

Just like in this discussion, you go off topic and turn it into a critical review of the original poster. If you are not interested in joining a discussion about fitness, health, diet, etc. go somewhere else. You are boring and apparently jump from forum to forum. I am tired of reading your crap everytime I pick a forum.

My issue is with sharing information that has no scientific study to back it up, as I said previously. The information was merely cut and pasted from a website that isn't backed up by any kind of data. That's what I was questioning. If my approach was offensive, I apologize for that.
