    USA has 27 medals to Russia's 26 and Canada's 24. I would say that is more medals and winning the count, or is my math off?

    Yes it is. Medals are weighted. Golds count more that silvers, which count more than bronze.

    Fun fact, medal counting is actually a thing the media made up to bring competitiveness to the Olympics. The Olympics when they were revieved were actually revived to bring all countries together, eitherway Canada won at it's sport for men's and female's. I am one happy lady :flowerforyou:

    Actually, now it's TWO cases of yucky American beer! GO CANADA!

    U.S. is leading in total medals but they seem to rank in terms of golds and that's norway (I believe Canada and U.S. are tied for golds currently? At least until we win gold on Sunday!).

    <--- American by birth and the first 30+ years of my life. Canadian resident for the last decade or so. American beer is a sad, commercial product compared to Canadian beer. And even if you want to talk about small breweries or micro breweries, Mill St. Tankhouse wins hands down. Everyone else is just dabbling.
