    I find this whole question troubling because the question seems REALLY to be "what, how can a NICE COLLEGE GIRL be doing porn? How degrading." This would be an arguably valid point if it were aimed at ALL porn workers (and by extension, a question about whether the very existence of the porn industry is degrading), but it's not. They're saying nice girls don't do porn and college is for nice girls. Working in porn is, by this thinking, specifically degrading for middle class women because it "lowers" them to a level that's okay for less privileged women. It's sexist AND classist.
